Check out the difference in my hands:

September 26 is around the time that it was the worst. Insane itchiness, red and dry flakiness, clear and yellow fluid-filled bubbles, bleeding cracks.
Compare that to how my hands are now:

My hands look night-and-day different three weeks apart! I accredit this to drinking raw milk daily, cutting out grains, nuts and seeds and continuing to limit hand washing and showering. I did get pretty itchy one morning last week, and that was after a night that I went out to an Asian restaurant AND ate ice cream afterward. I specifically avoided the grains/nuts/seeds but what I ate was still inflammatory and probably led to the symptoms.
I am so relieved. I am able to go about my daily life without worrying and stressing too much about my hands. I am healing. That has been my mantra for a couple of months now, and it has helped keep me positive and encourage the healing process. I’ll admit there were two specific times last month when I had dark thoughts as I imagined dealing with this for the rest of my life. That was just fear talking, and thankfully I snapped out of it. I am healing. Saying that aloud and in my mind is more powerful than the temptation to let fear overcome.
